Hannah Schneider – Square One review

This Thursday sees Danish electronica singer/songwriter Hannah Schneider head to the UK for her second string of dates in the country. The artist recently released her new single Square One, off her album Red Lines (out now via Lojinx (via Mermaid/Sony in Denmark), which you can stream below. With a sound that’s previously been raved about by everyone from Clash to The 405, it’s no wonder this single is such a triumph.

Takes the style of CHVRCHES, and tone it down to a more minimalistic style, and you’re getting at the sort of sublime music Hannah makes. Infused with synthesisers and electro pops, Hannah’s vocals are light and airy enough to float across the music, whilst still holding the weight required to power the track forwards. Summery and captivating, the singer/songwriter is blessed with one of the most striking voices I’ve heard in a while.

You can stream Square One and see the tour dates below.
